Trees grow in the classrooms

By Susanne Ganns

In autumn 2017, the large room of the first school building was converted into four smaller classrooms. This option now allows the school to continue operating with the funds currently available until the university has been built. This guarantees the development of the primary school for the next few years.

During our visit in March 2018 we experienced a wonderful surprise.

The children and the teachers have painted together their classrooms with beautiful trees.

Individually and with a lot of imagination, a different tree has been created for each classroom down into the smallest detail.
The nature school has a new face.

Leaves were collected and dipped into paint in order to transfer them lifelike to the wall. A mango tree with delicious fruits, birds and nests of birds in the trees, bees and ants, small monkeys…

It is easy to learn under palm trees, apple and mango trees and the rooms are a credit to the nature school.
