The children, the teachers and the entire team are extremely happy that this has become possible in such a short time. Within five months, the necessary 20,000 euros were donated and we were able to order the bus.
It is very motivating for all of us that now many support the vision of the nature school Paramarth Awadhawan.
A few days ago, the bus was officially handed over to Dilbar Singh Parihar (board of the Shin Shiva Charitable Trust) together with all the important papers. Then the bus was brought up to the school, which is located on a plateau in 1800 meters overlooking the Himalayas, on partially narrow paths.
Using the school bus saves us a lot of money, as it replaces the transport by the four school taxis, which caused a lot of expenses.
More and more children want to be admitted to the nature school. In that regard the school bus facilitates the transfer of the children to school and back home many times over, because the bus can accommodate 30 children on one trip.
The arrival of the school bus was a real pleasure for students, teachers and the entire team, as only a transfer service enables children from the surrounding areas to come to the school.
Furthermore, this bus is equipped with many safety standards, such as seat belts for each seat, a large first aid cabinet, protective straps outside the windows and much more.
Meanwhile, a school bus driver was found and engaged, and the father of a student was also trained as driver. They will take turns driving the school bus.
