School trip for all children

by Susanne Ganns
Since many years the children and teachers wish is a school excursion for all children. Financially this was never possible in our budget.

So Susanne Ganns spontaneously decided to donate the school trips for all children.

The children’s joyful anticipation was enormous and everyone was very excited.
Because many of the children from the nature school had never been further away from their villages and had never been on a trip before.

The teachers also had a lot of fun choosing the trip destinations.

Excursion of the older children to the Chandrabadni Temple
The teachers decided to take the children from classes 3 – 5 to the Chandrabadni temple dedicated to Goddess Sati on November 03, 2022, which is located at height of 2277 m above sea level and about 33-34 km from the holy city of Devprayag in Uttarakhand.

From up there, there is an all-encompassing and beautiful view of the rich green Garhwal hills and the Himalayan mountains.

After 3 hours of travel by school bus, they arrived. A path from the parking area goes up steeply, but the children sprinted light-footedly up the mountain, and the “old teachers” were just busy chasing the children and had to stop them again and again. After 25 minutes they reached the top.

And the children had great fun in the airy heights and in the midst of nature. They danced, sang Garhwali songs, played with the many bells and ate delicious food together.

Everyone said, “This was an unforgettable experience.”

Here is a little movie impression of the journey of the older children. Have fun.

School trip on 07 November 2022 to the Kandoliya Children Park
for the little ones of the school from classes UKG and 1st and 2nd class

This beautiful amusement park at about about 1700 meters and 2 km from Pauri, is located in the middle of the jungle and surrounded by many alpine trees, oaks and old rhododendrons. A dream playground for the little ones. Lots of swings, slides, climbing towers, small merry-go-rounds and much more makes all children’s hearts beat faster.

The kids were so happy and already on the way there they were singing strongly in the bus and then in the park they were so happy with all the play possibilities.

Children and teachers had a great fun.

Near the children’s park is also the Kandoliya Shiva Temple. The children visited the temple together with the teachers and all the children were blessed by the principal Deepak.

Then there was a break for everyone before going home with chips and small sweets.

Looking at all the pictures and videos with all the happy children and teachers, Susanne could only say: “What could be better than making over 70 children and all the teachers and staff happy with just one donation. With all those happy faces, it just warms your heart.”

Also for this a small film about the journey of the younger children. Have fun.
